Doctorate in Nursing required. Applicants without Doctorate in Nursing must obtain degree within three years of hire, or as contracted with VP Nursing. Board certification in Nursing Administration Advanced required within six months of hire.
Minimum of five years professional nursing practice experience required. Demonstrated leadership and management skills with knowledge and application of advanced professional nursing practice, CQI process, nursing care delivery models, health care delivery.
BSN & MSN Required. Doctorate preferred. NP a plus. Must have management experience in an ambulatory setting; prefer someone with director or asst. director experience; must have experience with electronic patient record systems; AAACN certification strongly preferred
Bachelorís degree in a clinical discipline business, or operational science required. Master degree preferred. Must have a comprehensive understanding and have worked with a surgical case cart system for a minimum of five (5) years or another assembly line setting. Complete understanding of hospital-wide policies and related areas within the Central Sterile Services. Must have a current Certification from the International or American Association of Healthcare Central Service Material Management Organization within one year of hire. Certified Instrumentation Specialist, IAHCSMM and/or Approved Certified Educator (ACE), IAHCSMM preferred.
BS degree required. BSN preferred. Masters Degree is also preferred but not required. 3-5 years of leadersgip experience. Strong OR experience. Communication expertise. Need to bring new ideas and skillsets to the team.
A. Education: Degree from a qualified nursing school, BSN and MSN preferred. Current Virginia State license or eligible for licensure. Current BSN required, Masters preferredBLS certification.
Experience: Minimum of three (3) years relevant nursing experience and demonstrated leadership ability. Membership in at least one professional organization.
