Exploratory Conversation with the Job SeekerWe conduct an in-depth telephone or in-person meeting with each candidate who comes to us for assistance. During which we focus on the applicant's career history, education, workplace accomplishments, career goals, salary and benefits needs, relocation preferences, personal achievements, work environment preferences, and any other personal goals identified by the candidate. Review of the Candidate's Resume and Reference ListThe candidate submits his/her most current resume and a list of references to the assigned recruiter at Management Recruiters of Morgantown. The recruiter will then critique the resume and make suggestions for improvement where necessary. Assistance will also be provided to the job seeker in selecting appropriate references and in developing a personal portfolio to take to the interview(s). Defining the Candidate's Search NeedsThe candidate and the recruiter will clearly define the type of positions, job titles, and salary level that best represents the candidate's next preferred job opportunity. Identifying Relevant Job OpportunitiesIn the candidate's preferred geographic areas, the recruiter will seek out the most relevant employers and attempt to identify open positions that match the candidate's criteria. Relevant job opportunities that are found by the recruiter will be presented to the candidate. The candidate chooses if he/she wishes to be presented as potential candidate for any of those identified opportunities. Introduction to EmployersThe candidate's resume, credentials, work history and career goals are presented to the selected employers in the identified geographic region. The employer will decide whether or not to pursue the job applicant. When there is a match between an employer's job needs and the candidate's career interests, the recruiter will set up an interview and will continue to communicate with the candidate throughout the interview process. Step Five is ongoing until the candidate receives a job offer or until all employment leads in an area have been exhausted. When there is no resultant job offer, the search can be repeated every six months upon the candidate's request. Salary NegotiationRecruiters at Management Recruiters of Morgantown will provide advice to applicants who are made salary offers and will negotiate on their behalf with the employers. Resignation and Relocation AssistanceManagement Recruiters of Morgantown can provide help in drafting a resignation letter and guidance in the proper procedure for leaving current employment in a professional manner and in good standing. Resources are also available through MRI for house hunting and relocation assistance, selling a current home and other related services. Follow-up on Job SatisfactionThe recruiter who places the candidate in his/her new job, will initiate follow-up conversations with both the candidate and the new employer in an attempt to help identify and solve any unexpected problems in their beginning stages. |
